When an audit fails, the report shows “This audit did not finish” with the reason and a Run again button. Failed audits don’t count against your monthly limit.

Before you run it again
- Open the page URL in your browser and check that it loads.
- Check the URL is the exact page, for example yourclient.com/services, without typos.
- For Keyword Score, check the keyword has at least 3 characters.
- Open the audit in Audits and click Run again.
If the same page keeps failing, follow Fix: Site can’t be crawled. It shows how to test the page from the command line with our User-Agent and what to allowlist. If it still fails, ask in the chat inside the app and include the page URL.
Fix the issues an audit finds
Every check in the report has a step-by-step guide in the Fix guides category, for example title and meta, Core Web Vitals, page speed and indexing. Read your audit score and report maps every report section to its guide.
If you can’t start an audit
- “You have used all … this month”: your monthly limit is reached. Add audits in Billing & plan or wait for your billing date.
- “Lighthouse audits use advanced audits, which are not in your plan.”: the + types need Growth or higher. Compare plans on the pricing page and change yours in Billing & plan.
Common questions
Does a failed audit use one of my audits?
No. Failed audits stop counting against your monthly limit.
What does the site blocks automated page downloads (403) mean?
The website refused our audit server. Allowlist our server IP addresses in the firewall, CDN or security plugin (the exact IPs and steps for Cloudflare, Wordfence, Solid Security, Sucuri, nginx, Apache, cPanel and Plesk are in Fix: Site can't be crawled), then run the audit again.
