Get an alert when a page changes

Monitor key pages and get an email when their title, meta description, H1, body text or status code changes.

Updated Oct 23, 2026

Page change monitoring watches important pages and tells you when something changes, for example when someone edits a title.

Steps

  1. Open Site crawl and click the client’s crawl. No crawl yet? See Site crawl.
  2. Go to the Change monitor tab.
  3. Click Add page.
  4. Enter the Page URL. It must be on the client’s domain.
  5. Under Check every, choose Day, Week or Month.
  6. Under Watch for changes in, pick Title, Meta description, H1, Body text and/or Status code.
  7. Leave Email me when something changes on to get an email at your account email (shown in Settings › Profile).
  8. Save.

The first check saves the page as it is now. After that, every change is listed in Change history, and you get an email with the subject “Page changed” and the URL.

Stop monitoring

Click Stop monitoring on the page row.

Limits

Up to 50 monitored pages per website.
