The AI summary in client reports

How the AI summary in client reports is written, and how to check and edit it before the report is sent.

Updated Oct 23, 2026

Each client report includes a short summary in plain English for the business owner. It says what changed, why, and the next steps. Google Gemini writes it from the numbers of the report period, in up to about 120 words.

Check and edit the summary

  1. Open Client reports.
  2. Click Preview on the schedule. No schedule yet? See Schedule a client report.
  3. Read the AI summary box. You can change the text.
  4. Click Save summary. Your text is used in the PDF.

After you edit it, the box says “Edited by you.”

When a simpler summary is used

If the AI summary can’t be written, the report uses a standard summary built from the numbers, for example how organic clicks grew or fell, what went well and what needs attention.

During the free trial, the AI summary is included in 1 report.
